Junior QA Engineer

We are looking for a Junior QA Engineer with at least 6 months of practical experience in software testing to work on web and mobile applications. This role involves manual testing, creating and maintaining test documentation, and collaborating with the development team to ensure product quality.

Requirements:

  • 6+ months of practical experience in QA (commercial projects, internships, or freelance)
  • Understanding of software testing theory (test levels, types, methods)
  • Familiarity with SDLC and bug life cycle Experience using bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello)
  • Ability to write clear, structured test cases and bug reports
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and browser developer tools
  • English level: Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher
  • Strong attention to detail, responsibility, and willingness to learn

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working with Postman or basic API testing
  • Familiarity with databases and basic SQL queries
  • Completed QA courses or relevant certifications
  • Knowledge of automation testing basics

Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications
  • Create and maintain test cases, checklists, and other test documentation
  • Report bugs with clear reproduction steps using bug-tracking tools
  • Collaborate with developers, designers and project managers to ensure product quality Verify that implemented features meet business and user requirements
  • Participate in functional, regression, and exploratory testing Support continuous improvement of QA processes and workflows
